Seek to enhance online shopping with 3D and AR.
Boggi Milano, an established brand with over 220 stores worldwide, identified a challenge in providing a consistent and seamless shopping experience across their online and physical stores. The goal was to merge the digital and physical shopping worlds, allowing their customers to have an enriching shopping experience irrespective of the platform. Aim to boost interaction and conversions.
The task was to integrate Zakekeβs 3D DAM & Viewer with AR functionality into Boggi Milanoβs eCommerce platform. The primary objective was to create hyper-realistic 3D models of Boggiβs iconic footwear collections, allowing customers to view products from every angle and in fine detail. Customers needed to feel as though they were experiencing the product in-person, therefore reducing the disparity between the online and in-store shopping experiences. This detailed representation was intended to increase customer interaction and confidence, ultimately driving conversions and reducing product returns.

Zakeke undertook the task of creating highly detailed 3D models for over 70 SKUs of Boggiβs footwear, derived from the still-life images provided. The integration involved displaying 2D images on Boggiβs eCommerce site with an overlay icon for switching to 3D visualization. This feature transformed the user interaction on the product page to a more immersive experience. Customers can now explore the detailed aspects of the footwear, including materials, stitching, and design via 360Β° rotations. Furthermore, a pop-up allows the switch to a real-time AR view to assess the footwear in their personal environment, enhancing overall trust and engagement.
